QUENDA ULTIMATE FIBRE contains psyllium husk, a natural plant source of both soluble and insoluble dietary fibre. Psyllium works by soaking up water and providing bulk to digested food. This helps the food to move through the digestive tract and makes bowel movements easier and more regular. Exercise and simple movement may reduce the symptoms of constipation in some people.
This product is designed to provide half of the necessary daily fibre needs of an individual and has additional herbal support to reduce the impact of our modern lifestyle and diet on the gut.

How long will I need Ultimate Fibre for?
Most people use this whole food Ultimate Fibre product for 3 to 6 months; however, you decide based on your body's feedback. Progress to Everyday Fibre which can be used for any length of time.

Serving Suggestion
Serving scoop included in pack (10g - one level tablespoon).
Mix two level scoops of Qenda Ultimate Fibre (or one level scoop for children under 12 years) in 350-400ml of water in a shaker bottle once or twice daily.
Secure lid and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Drink immediately. If left for a short period after shaking product will thicken. Best results are obtained when shaken not stirred.
Best taken 10-30 minutes prior to meals. Close lid tightly after opening and store in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate.

What isThaumatin?
Thaumatin is unique in numerous ways. It is natural and derived from the fruit of a plant, that is native to West Africa, called Thaumatococcus daniellii. Unlike other sweeteners, it is not a carbohydrate1. Furthermore, Researchers have found that this sweet protein is more common in nature than earlier thought as Thaumatin can also be derived from Kiwifruit. There are also thaumatin-like sweet proteins in various tropical berries, barley, maize, and even tomatoes. These findings only confirm that sweet proteins are common in nature and can be good for frequent human consumption.2 Thaumatin is one of the few, or perhaps the only widely used sweetener that is actually a protein. It is a chain of 207 amino acids which means that its molecule is much larger than a sugar molecule.1
