The ORIGINAL GHK copper peptide as formulated by the biochemist who discovered copper peptides: Dr. Loren Pickart.
The cream contain the original active, skin beauty-improving copper peptide at a concentration much higher than competing products to restore vibrancy (elasticity) and clarity (smoothness / even skin tone) while actively diminishing the appearance of wrinkles.*
GHK Comparison Levels - This Product Contains:
150 mgs of GHK-Cu in 15ml and 500 mgs GHK-Cu in 50ml
The strength rating for Super GHK Cream/Serum is 5.2 as per the Skin Biology website. The level of GHK CU peptide per ml.
SUGGESTED USAGE:
For best results, use as directed below.
1. After cleansing the skin, apply a light amount of Super GHK-Copper Cream or Serum.
For best results, apply lightly and gently massage into the skin for 5-10 seconds. Perfect for use around the eye area or general facial use.
TIP! GHK-Copper is not to be used with hydroxy acids at the same time - If you use hydroxy acids, use it at the opposite end of the day.
Benefits of a true Copper Peptide:
- The beauty of Super GHK-Copper is that it is both soothing and intense.
- Designed especially for those starting out with copper-peptides, or who have sensitive skin, or for sensitive skin areas.
What type of copper peptides are proven safe and effective?
Only two types of copper peptides have been proven safe and effective for improving skin beauty and appearance during clinical testing in humans:
1. Gly-His-Lys:Copper 2+ (GHK-Cu)
2. Copper 2+ chelated to peptides from hydrolyzed soy proteins (used for many years in intravenous feeding of patients in hospitals)
What are copper peptides? What is GHK?
GHK is a copper peptide that was discovered in 1973 by Dr. Loren Pickart PhD. GHK occurs naturally in human blood. GHK levels appear to be higher in younger people than older people. Out of that finding, it was determined that to improve skin appearance following laser resurfacing and chemical peels, adding more copper peptides to the surface of the skin could generate amazing results.
While there are many different copper peptides which serve biological functions, only a few are beneficial to human skin. Only these Skin Rejuvenating Copper Peptides (SRCPs), such as GHK, are used in our advanced formulations.
Safety of Copper Peptides
The use of GHK-Cu has been intensively studied and effective dermal dosages determined. No negative effects have ever been observed at any reasonable dosage up to and over 3% GHK-Cu.
Our second generation copper peptides use peptides from soybean proteins that have been broken down and used for intravenous feeding of hospital patients for many decades. They are very safe.
Is copper-chloride dangerous?
No. Cupric chloride, formulated as it is in our products, is very tightly bound to the peptides. We only use pure soy protein that is partially hydrolyzed to produce peptides of 200 to 700 molecular weight. Then this material is further purified to remove any non-peptide material. This type of solution has been used for many years in cosmetics without detrimental effects.
